The Saval Charity Tractor Run

posted Oct 16, 2012, 1:47 AM by Saval Gac

This years run took place on Saturday 15th September 2012. Money raised from this event, totaled £2000 and was donated to the suicide prevention charity PIPS Newry & Mourne. A grand total of 57 tractors ran. The route was a 17 mile circular course around Saval and some of the most spectacular countryside that South Down has to offer. The tractors that took part in the run ranged from vintage to modern and many of the vintage tractors have been painstakingly restored while others are still a work in progress! Chairperson of the Saval Vintage club Micheal Sands would like to thank all who came and participated on the day, all who supported with gifts and donations for  the raffle, and to everyone who helped in any way to make the event such a great success. With particular thanks to:
